What Happens in a Past Life Regression Session

Before a first session, most people have the same question — not about whether past lives exist, but about what the experience is actually like. What will they see. Whether they will feel anything. Whether the mind will just produce something ordinary and call it significant.

Those are the right questions. Here is what actually happens.

The session begins with induction — a guided process that moves the nervous system into a deeply relaxed state. Not sleep. Not unconsciousness. A state similar to the edge of sleep, where the conscious mind quiets and what lies beneath it becomes available.

You remain aware throughout. You can speak, respond, describe what you are experiencing. The practitioner guides the process by asking questions — not by telling you what to see. What surfaces comes from you, not from suggestion.

You are not taken anywhere you do not go yourself. The subconscious leads. The session follows.

Before the past life material, the session moves through womb regression — the soul's state at entry into this lifetime. What was sensed before conscious memory begins. Then, when the subconscious is ready, it surfaces the past life most relevant to what is being carried now.

What people experience varies. Some see detailed scenes. Others receive impressions — a sense of place, a quality of feeling, a knowing that arrives without visual content. Both are genuine. The form the experience takes does not determine its depth or its usefulness.

What is consistent is the quality of specificity. The material arrives with a precision and an emotional weight that the imagination does not generate on its own.

The mind that was prepared to observe the experience closely

finds itself inside it
instead.

A past life regression session is not observation. What is encountered is worked with directly. The past life is entered, explored, and addressed — the practitioner guiding the work toward what needs to resolve.

Where applicable, the session moves into the Life Between Lives layer — where the soul reviews the design of this lifetime, the purpose chosen before entry, the agreements made before arriving here. This layer becomes accessible once the denser material of the past life has been cleared.

The session closes with integration — connecting what emerged to what is present in this lifetime, so the client leaves with something specific rather than an experience still waiting to be understood.

Past life regression is one approach within transpersonal and regression hypnotherapy — a category of work that reaches what lies beyond the bounds of ordinary conscious processing. The session can be a standalone experience or part of a longer engagement, depending on what is being carried and what depth of work is required.

The consultation is structured to identify what you are carrying and whether past life regression is the right starting point — or whether something in this lifetime needs to be addressed first.

Sessions are conducted in New York and via Zoom.
