Assessment Session

Where the hypnotherapy
begins.

The Assessment Session is the first working step inside your container.

It was assigned in consultation. This is where that identification becomes specific.

This session gives the situation a precise shape — regardless of how much you understood about it before arriving.

Some clients come with years of prior work and a clear map of their patterns. Others arrive knowing only that something is not working and that they want it addressed directly.

In both cases, the assessment session identifies the specific pattern maintaining the issue — and shows how much of the situation it influences.

This is where the situation stops feeling vague.

The session works directly with your experience — the specific situations where the pattern activates.

Lin traces how the response is structured: what triggers it, what it produces, and how it forms.

Hypnotherapy is present in a limited capacity within the session. The primary work is assessment — locating the pattern with precision before the deeper work begins.

The session typically runs 60 to 90 minutes.

The goal is not to discuss the pattern further.

Clarity.

You understand what has been maintaining the situation and why previous efforts did not fully resolve it.

The situation becomes specific instead of generalized.

It is no longer vague.
It has a shape, a pattern, and a direction.

A written summary is sent after the session — outlining what was identified and what the work addresses from here. In some cases, affirmations are included where they support the process.

In rare cases, where the situation proves specific and contained enough, the work concludes at this session. That is identified on the consultation call and confirmed through the assessment itself.

The Assessment Session is assigned through consultation. That is where the direction of the work is established.

Consultation clarifies the pattern, the scope, and which container applies. The Assessment Session opens from there.
