Relational Work · Hypnotherapy
You can be fine on your own. The moment you are with certain people, something changes — and you don't always have access to what does.
The response that takes over in those moments has been in place longer than this relationship.
When the same version of you appears across different connections, the work addresses what those connections share.
It does not happen in every situation. With certain people, or in certain dynamics, it shows up reliably.
Different people. Different relationships.
The same version of you.
Afterward, the clarity arrives. You can see exactly what happened. You can identify the moment it started and what you could have done differently.
That clarity was not available when it mattered.
The interaction is not creating the response from nothing. Something is already becoming active before the interaction fully unfolds.
The people change. The relational response stays the same.
The response did not begin with this relationship. Certain people reliably trigger a response that already exists in connection.
The response that shows up with a partner may also appear with a colleague, or with a family member, or with someone you just met who carries a particular quality. The connection changes each time. What activates inside you does not.
The response did not begin with this person.
It was already running.
The person in front of you changes each time. The shift inside you does not.
Different people. The same shift in connection.
The shift in connection is where the work begins
This level applies when the automatic response is specific to connection — when interactions with certain people reliably shift your reactions, decisions, or access to yourself.
The work addresses the automatic shift that takes over in connection — how quickly you reorganize around another person and what becomes difficult to access while you are with them.
You may still complete the interaction. But you are completing it from a different position — one where certain things are no longer available to you.
A relational pattern that remains unaddressed tends to deepen over time. Each relationship where the same response appears reinforces the pattern. The range of connections affected expands while the response itself stays untouched.
The container opens with a fixed three-week cadence: assessment in week one, first hypnotherapy session in week two, second hypnotherapy session in week three. From week four, hypnotherapy sessions continue biweekly through the main phase of work. Integration sessions run between each hypnotherapy session, supporting the work as it consolidates.
Reassessment closes the container — determining whether the work is complete, whether another phase of work is necessary, or whether the client is ready to integrate independently.
This work is appropriate for high-functioning individuals with the capacity to engage emotionally demanding work with stability. It is not appropriate during active clinical crisis, with untreated severe psychiatric conditions, or without prior stabilization of active addiction.
The consultation identifies the relational response affecting your situation and establishes the direction of the work.
